We carefully prepare each order before it makes its way to you. Please read the information below regarding processing, shipping and delivery before placing your order.

Where We Ship

MATIA Origins currently ships to:

New Zealand
Australia

Available shipping options and applicable shipping costs will be displayed at checkout.

Processing & Delivery Timeframes

Please allow up to 4 weeks from the date your order is placed for your order to be dispatched and delivered, particularly during collection launches, high-volume periods and pre-order releases.

Many orders may arrive sooner; however, we recommend allowing the full timeframe when placing your order.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information where available.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, customs processing, public holidays, weather events or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Pre-Orders

Some MATIA Origins pieces may be available for pre-order before they are ready for immediate dispatch.

When purchasing a pre-order item, please be aware that your order may take up to 4 weeks from the close of the pre-order period unless a different estimated timeframe is clearly stated on the product page.

Pre-order timeframes allow for the preparation, production, arrival and fulfilment of your piece before it is sent to you.

If there is a significant change to the estimated timeframe for your pre-order, we will contact you using the email address provided with your order.

If your order contains both an in-stock item and a pre-order item, your order may be shipped together once the pre-order item is ready unless otherwise stated.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on your delivery location and the shipping option selected.

The total shipping cost will be displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

Australian Orders

Orders shipped to Australia are international shipments from New Zealand and may be subject to additional customs requirements, duties, taxes or import charges depending on the value and circumstances of the order.

Where any additional import charges are not collected at checkout, they may be payable by the recipient in accordance with Australian requirements.

MATIA Origins is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing that are outside our reasonable control.

Tracking Your Order

Where tracking is available, you will receive your tracking details by email once your order has been dispatched.

Please allow some time for tracking information to update after receiving your shipping confirmation.

If you haven’t received your order within the expected timeframe, or your tracking information hasn’t updated for an extended period, please contact us at hello@matiaorigins.com and we’ll look into it for you.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Please check your delivery information carefully before completing your order.

If you notice an error in your shipping address, contact us as soon as possible at hello@matiaorigins.com.

We will do our best to update your details before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee changes can be made once an order has entered fulfilment or has been handed to the courier.

Additional shipping costs may apply if an order needs to be resent because incorrect or incomplete delivery information was provided at checkout.

Lost, Delayed or Damaged Parcels

If your parcel appears to be significantly delayed, lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us at hello@matiaorigins.com with your order number.

We’ll work with you and the relevant shipping provider to investigate the issue and determine the appropriate next steps.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits any rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer law, including the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Australian Consumer Law.
